    Tablewares made from Japanese Stoneware in Busan Between 1925 and 1930 Busan Modern & Contemporary History Museum
    This cup and saucer are from the Japan Stoneware Manufacture Company, which was founded in 1925 in Busan. The company used colonial Joseon's resources and cheap labor to establish international competitiveness, and it experienced significant prosperity in the 1930s. This company is also regarded as a forerunner to the establishment of Daehan Pottery following the liberation.
